一、课时目标：
1、能够听懂并完成Let’s try部分的听力任务。

2、能够听懂、会说询问别人会做什么的句型：“What can you do ? ”及其答语“I can…”。

3、培养学生的社会责任心，学会多为社会做一些自己力所能及的事情。

二、教学重难点：
1、重点：学习句型“What can you do? ”及其回答“I can…”的用法。

2、难点：能够在日常交际情景中灵活询问他人的特长，并做出回答。

三、课前准备：
多媒体课件、志愿者的爱心标志手链
四、教学过程：
Step 1 Warm-up and review
(1)I can do（学生边说边做）
Dance, dance, I can dance.
Kung fu, kung fu, I can do kung fu.
Pipa, pipa,I can play the pipa.
Cartoons,cartoons,I can draw cartoons.
Songs, songs,I can sing English songs.
Oh, wonderful !
(2)Animals Show
教师播放动物秀，学生一起问动物，教师播放动物回答的录
音。

如：
---Bird,bird,what can you do? ---I can sing English songs .
---Pig,pig,what can you do? ---I can dance.
---Duck,duck,what can you do? --- I can draw cartoons.
---Cat,cat,what can you do? --- I can play the pipa.
---Pig,pig,what can you do? --- I can jump.
---Panda,panda,what can you do? ----I can do kung fu .
(3)Free talk.
先教师问一个学生示范，再让学生问学生。

如：
----ⅹⅹⅹ，What can you do?
----I can …
Step 2 Presentation
(1)Let’s try:What can Mike do? (listen and tick)
先让学生看图片，说说这两幅图中麦克在干什么，然后听录音，再核对答案。

最后让学生复述录音中的内容，从而引出英语派对。

(2)Let’s talk
教师：In the recording,they’ll have an English party next Tuesday.What kind of party is it? Let’s have a look.欣赏English party的
图片，让学生了解英语派对，从而抛出问题What can Zhang Peng and John do for the party?
①Listen and answer
Q1 What can Zhang Peng do for the party?
Q2 What can John do for the party?
（让学生带着问题听录音，并思考答案。

听完录音让个别学生回答，再让学生打开书本，从对话中划出关键句子核对答案。

）
②Listen and follow
让学生跟读录音，模仿语音语调。

教师相机指导学生理解对话意思。

③Read together
④Read in groups
教师用PPT出示小组活动要求：ⅰ. Follow the group leader跟小组长读）ⅱ. Read together（齐读）ⅲ. Role-play （分角色读）。

教师巡视并适时指导。

⑤Let’s show
学生选择自己喜欢的方式以小组为单位展示，其他学生认真聆听，教师适时评价并对表现好的小组给予鼓励和表扬。

Step 3 Consolidatian and extension
Activity:Little V olunteer Activity (小小志愿者活动)
What can you do for the old people?
教师：How wonderful ! We are young, so we can do what we
want to do.But, when we are old,maybe we can’t…这时用PPT出示一些老人的图片再加上音乐的渲染让学生体会老人在生活中的种种不便，还有内心中的无奈和孤寂，从而引出学校帮助敬老院招募小小志愿者的活动。

接着，用PPT出示招募海报：
学生按要求以小组为单位开展活动，先完成的小组到讲台上表演展示。

Step 4 Emotional education
教师用PPT出示图片并配乐，让学生一边看图片一边听老师讲解：The old people is inconvenient and lonely.We should try our best to help and care them，make the old people’s life be better.(老人生活不便，内心寂寞。

我们应该尽力帮助和关爱他们,让老人的生活变得更美好。

)最
后，师生齐唱《明天会更好》共同祝福老人们的生活明天会更好。

Step 5 Homewok
1.听读Let’s talk 2遍;
2.试用句型What can you do ?询问家人或朋友，作一份调查表。
