The use of SGS System Certification Mark

INTRODUCTION引言
SGS certified clients are entitled to use SGS Certification Mark and relevant Accreditation Marks according to the regulations governing the use of SGS system certification mark and requirements from accreditation body.
When using the accreditation logo, the SGS S&SC certification mark must always be used in conjunction with it. The format of either mark may not be altered in shape, proportion, or content. Additionally, the size of the accreditation mark should not exceed that of the SGS certification mark. While the certification and accreditation marks may be reduced in size for some applications, all details must remain clearly legible.

Per the SGS S&SC Codes of Practice, a certificate holder shall take all precautions to control the use of its Certificate and the Certification Marks and ensure that no confusion arises between certified and non-certified systems and/or services. Any misuse of the certification Mark will result in immediate action being undertaken to correct the situation. The user is responsible for taking appropriate corrective actions, as defined by SGS S&SC. Contravention of these rules could result in the withdrawal of certification. In any case SGS S&SC has the right of claiming for compensation. The use of the certification mark does not exonerate the organization from any liability imposed by law regarding any aspects of its scope of certification.

Effectiveness of Logo
The right to use the SGS S&SC certification mark and the relevant accreditation mark is granted only in conjunction with a current management system certification. The certification and accreditation marks may only be used in association with the specific, certified facility(ies) and products or services within the scope of certification. Should the certification expire or be suspended or withdrawn, all use of the certification and accreditation marks must cease immediately.
