I. Warming-up and revision

2. 阅读指导:
首先,阅读短文,整体把握短文大意。
其次,分析有空格的每个句子,看空格处的意思,联系所给单词的意思,进展综合分析,确定空格处应填的单词。
例如:第一空,由下文“在那座城市里有更多的工作〞可知本空填live“居住〞一词。
最后,再通读一遍短文,看是否通顺合理。

Step 1Work on 3b: While-writing
1. Think about your life 20 years from now. Write down some notes in the chart below according to the chart above. Wu can add more items.
2. Give some examples to the Ss. Give Ss an example, and analysis it with Ss.
3. Ss try to think about their lives 20 years from now. Write notes for their own reviews.
4. Try to fill in the blanks.

T: Prepare your diary orally according to the details in the chart and I'll ask someone to
read to the class.
2. Give Ss 3 or 4 minutes to write an outline. Sample:

Here is an evaluation scale〔评价标准〕. Have a look.
Step 3 Post-writing activities:
T: Modify each other's diary in pairs according to the evaluation scale above. Correct mistakes as possible as you can.
1) Each group hands in one diary. Teacher shows them on the screen and evaluate
them one by one.
2) Choose several Ss to evaluate the diary item by item in the evaluation scale.
3) Each group elects the best place from all the diaries of them and gives them to the
teacher.
T: I'll show them on the screen. The group leaders will give a grade〔等级〕to each diary according to the evaluation scale.
