1、two heads are better than one

2、two wrongs don't make a right
以牙还牙行不通(两个错误不等于一个正确)。

这是英国英语中的一个习语。

意思是说，即使有人先对你犯错，你也不能对他犯错，因为他的错加上你的错并不能成就一个正确。

It is never right to wrong anyone, even if he has wronged you first. His "wrong" plus your "wrong" together would not make a "right". 从字面上看，two wrongs don't make a right 的意思是：两个错误不等于一个正确。

引申为“以牙还牙行不通”。
