Good afternoon, my dear teacher! It’s my great honor to be here for this interview.
First of all, I’d like to introduce myself to you. My name is ***, I’m *** years old. I am a senior student of the *** School of*** university. My major is ***.
During the undergraduate study, my academic records kept rising: My calculus grade increased from 77 to 99 through hardworking and the improvement of learning method. I was once granted*** scholarship, and my overall GPA（grade-point-average）ranked in the top ***percent among 364 students. Moreover, I always joined some research groups of my undergraduate tutor, dealing with some basic work such as date analysis. Three years' university education not only offers me a lot of science knowledge, but also let me learn a lot on how to be an upright person. Some good habits cultivated on campus will benefit me all my life, such as making a careful plan before embark on one job.
Here I aspire to pursue master degree in the School of T ransportation engineering at Tongji University. My reasons for my applications can be briefly stated as follows:
Firstly, my undergraduate study in the past 3 years let me realize that I have great interests in the field of T raffic and T ransportation, especially i n the field of ***. I would like to research this field and I think my solid foundation gained in my undergraduate study will support my further study and research well.
Secondly, in my spare time, I always read some news related to T raffic and Transportation, where I learn about some new concepts。

There are 3 hot issues in Transportation: Consumption and Contamination、Transportation Safety、Metropolitan traffic congestion. With the coming of green environmental protection century, there is no doubt that Urban Rail Transit is the key to solve these problems. I desire to make achievement in this field and make contributions to the development of energy conservation and environmental in the future.
Thirdly, some of my characters will be helpful in my further study and research. On one hand, I am very careful in my life and study, in my view, it can help me find some tiny changes or differences which are neglected by others. On the other hand, I am a goal-oriented person. Besides what I have introduced myself above, I also have many interests. In my spare time, reading is my favorite thing, and I have learned some courses about psychology and economics
through self-study, the world in books expands my horizon and cultivates my ability to consider one matter in different aspects. In addition , playing badminton is another favor to me, it can improve my health. Moreover ,I once been a leader of a Student organization and joined many Volunteer activities.
Direction is more important than endeavor.
