This manual is divided into two parts: the first part, the blast furnace workshop design; the second part, translation.
The first part is divided into 10 chapters, the content including comprehensive calculation, design of blast furnace, raw material system, top charging equipment, air supply system (blast system), blast furnace gas system, slag-iron management system, injection fuel system, blast furnace layout, and environmental protection.
本设计主要的任务是:设计一座年产480万吨制钢生铁和40万吨铸造生铁的炼铁厂。根据国内外大型高炉先进生产技术指标,确定的主要技术经济指标:利用系数2.3,焦比315kg,煤比180kg,热风温度1200℃,富氧3%。炼铁厂设计主体包括两座33003的高炉,以及每座高炉对应的四座新日铁外燃式热风炉,一座重力除尘器及其它附属设备。在设计上,采用国内外先进技术,如高风温,喷吹煤粉,干法除尘,环形出铁场等。另外,在炉前设置了除烟罩和其他除尘设备,在噪音大的地方安装消音器,以改善炼铁厂的环境,减少对环境的污染。本设计预计可实现高产、优质、低耗、长寿和环保的综合目标。

The main task is to design a system of annual output of 4.8 million tons of pig iron for steel making and 0.4 million tons pig iron for casting. According to the advanced production technology indicators of large blast furnaces at home and abroad, the maintechnical and economic indexes as follows: utilization coefficient is 2.3, coke rate is 315 kg, coal rate is 180 kg, hot blast temperature is 1200℃, oxygen-enriched is 3%. The major design equipment of ironmaking plant includes two 3300m3 blast furnace, and four external combustion hot stoves of Nippon steel, one gravitate dust filter and other ancillary equipment corresponding to each blast furnace. Adopt advanced technology of home and abroad in design process, such as high blast temperature, pulverized coal injection, dry dust, ring cast house, etc. In addition, build smoke hood and other dust removal equipment in front of the furnace, install silencers in noisy place, which can be improve the environment and reduce the pollution. This design is expected to achieve the comprehensive goal of high production, high quality, low consumption, long life, and environmental protection.

Abstract
China has been the world's leading producer of steel production for many years, and blast furnace ironmaking is a very important part of the integrated iron and steel enterprises. In response to the requirements of modern industry, the design of blast furnace ironmaking must actively promote the concept of sustainable development and recycling economy, improve environmental protection and the level of comprehensive utilization of resources, so we design must fully implement the ironmaking policy of efficient, high quality, low consumption, long life, environmental protection. Therefore, this design must follow the classic traditional process method, at the same time, actively adopt advanced production technology and equipment in order to achieve the new demand of the blast furnace ironmaking.
