StepⅠ. Lead in
Leading in 【情景1】
T: Do you know a lot about your family history?
Ss: Yes. My parents and grandparents tell me many stories about my family history. /I know some things about my family history, but there are a lot of things that I don’t know.
T: If there were a hobby show, what would you like to present?
S1: I would like to present my music/stamps collection. I have many CDs/stamps.
T: Look at the pictures in this lesson. Can you guess what Danny presents?
S2: He presents his family tree?
T: Wonderful. I think all of you would do a good job. Now let’s read the lesson and see if he does a good job.

Leading in 【情景2】
Show a video of the yo-yo performance to the students, and show some pictures of the yo-yo.
T: This is a good performance. What’s the man’s hobby?
S1: Playing yo-yo.
T: How does he play yo-yo?
S2: He spins it up and down.
T: Yesterday, we knew Paul’s hobby. Paul showed and told about it. Danny would like to show us his hobbies like Paul. Let’s go and see.

StepⅡ. Listening
Play the tape for Lesson 41 twice. Students listen to the tape and answer the following questions.
