我们必须发展船舶工程，①由于一些国家对我国海洋资源的觊觎，我们必须在军事上发展船舶工程，比如建造更加先进的战舰和航母，中国建造航母已成为一种必然趋势，现在许多国家都有航空母舰。

海洋中有许多丰富的资源，也有觊觎者。

在它的发展过程中，曾经出现过三个高峰时期，这就是秦汉时期、唐宋时期和明朝时期。
秦汉时期，我国造船业的发展出现了第一个高峰。
秦始皇在统一中国南方的战争中组织过一支能运输50万石粮食的大船队。
唐宋时期为我国古代造船史上的第二个高峰时期。
我国古代造船业的发展自此进入了成熟时期。
明朝时期，我国造船业的发展达到了第三个高峰。
由于元朝经办以运粮为主的海运，又继承和发展了唐宋的先进造船工艺和技术，大量建造了各类船只，其数量与质量远远超过前代。

因此我们应该努力学习，奋发向上，为我国海洋强国战略做贡献，这样才能有向海洋进军的坚实后盾，捍卫我国海洋领土的完整。

由于我对该专业不是很了解，对大学的学习生活处于迷茫状态，俗话说万事开头难，就在我迷茫时，“船舶与海洋工程导论”这门课为我指明了方向，让我了解了该专业以及明白了怎样去学习该专业。
