The reason why are I applying for Suzhou Singapore International School is obtaining an international education can have amazing positive effects on my future, but also studying at an international school itself can be a great experience as I can study in foreign language with students from different nationalities and backgrounds which can really expand my horizons. The main reason why I want an international education is that I love to travel, and not just for the holidays. In my life I would like to live in different countries and experience different culture and I think that attending an international school is a great start. With international education I have much greater possibilities to learn and achieve high quality education I can continue my studies at an international school where not only I can get much higher quality education, but also great opportunity to learn new habits of a country or perhaps learn a new language.
In my short life I’ve had quite afar accomplishments. Certainly the most useful accomplishment was of course learning English which can I now speak fluently. Even though it’s not the biggest accomplishment and it wasn’t even hardest one to achieve not knowing English language would limit me in a ways I can’t possibly imagine. Even though I permanently live in China I use my English every day and I have plenty or English speaking friends.
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of was successfully
managing our garden. It took men couple of weeks to get everything started. I have grown seasonal flower having varieties of beautiful bright colors and sweet smell. Even though some moments were very frustrating and difficult to manage , it was a fascinating experience for me. It is great joy to me to take care of my plants myself, it gives me such a good feeling that I suggest every body to have a garden at the house.
Another thing I would like to mention is my decision to spent a year learning English. Even though it was a tough decision, I’m really happy that I’ve done it as it is probably one of my best life experiences I’ve ever had. It was hard to adjust to foreign environment at first but now I really enjoy it and it ensured me that Suzhou Singapore International School can help me with that.
At Suzhou Singapore International School, I’m planning to learn as much as I can successfully continue my studies but also to represent my school. As much as I understand that school’s main purpose is to teach, It’s still the place where you spent most of your time and important part of student social lives school is what you make it and that’s why I would like to contribute to making a better atmosphere in school and nice and positive environment. I’m looking forward to participating.。
