外贸英语教学大纲

《外贸英语》课程教学大纲一、课程名称实用外贸英语二、课程性质与任务“实用外贸英语”是中等职业学校商务英语专业课程,教学对象为中等职业学校商务英语专业的学生。

通过本课程的学习,学生应掌握外贸英语交流的基本技能;熟悉和掌握当代商务理念和国际商务惯例;提高作为国际贸易工作者的基本素质,具有较强的商务交际能力和团队协作精神,以及不懈的创新意识;并且了解英语国家的社会和商业文化。

通过学习有关商务活动的真实语言材料,学生应具有较高的听、读、说、写、译的能力,能够在不同的商务活动中正确使用英语。

达到国际贸易专业中职毕业水平,成为适应社会需要的应用型涉外贸易工作者。

三.教学目的和要求:(一)继续深化英语技能训练“外贸英语”虽然是专业课程,但英语综合技能是学好本课程的基础。

因此,在学习本课程的过程中要进一步加强基础英语训练,使学生能具有较高的听、读、说、写、译的能力。

(二)学习外贸专业英语,掌握外贸专业英语的特点和用法“外贸英语”通常是指在对外经济贸易工作中(如阅读有关资料、文献,处理英语函电,草拟商业合同、协议等文件,进行商务谈判等)所使用和接触到的英语,具有其本身的特点。

比如,一些普通的英语词汇在外贸英语中有特殊的含义。

这些专业词汇和它们的中文译名以及特殊的用法、搭配和套语都需要熟悉和掌握(三)结合专业英语学习,扩充有关的外贸业务知识学习过程中,应充分利用教材中的案例和真实的外贸语料,学习外贸业务知识、基本的商务交际伦理、外贸交际的基本程序和方式、商务交际中可能出现的障碍和解决办法。

结合专业英语反复进行多种形式的操练,使学生获得大量的有关国际贸易领域的知识四.教学方法本课程的课堂教学不仅要传授语言知识,同时要引导学生关注外贸的相关知识,在教学中要把过去以教师为中心的教学模式改编为以学生为中心的教学模式。

多开展以任务为中心的,形式多样的教学活动,采用启发式,讨论式、发现式和研究式的教学方法,充分调动学生学习的积极性,激发学生的学习动机,最大限度地让学生参与学习的全过程。

本课程以文字为主,辅以多媒体教学材料。

五.教材名称及教学内容教材名称;《实用外贸英语》,职业高中外经贸专业教材编写组编着,上海科技教育出版社,1995年1月。

教学内容;教材共三册。

第一册介绍外贸业的背景知识;后两册以外贸实例为主线,分别介绍业务关系的建立,签订合同,订货,运输,交货,保险,包装,价格术语,付款术语,索赔,仲裁,还盘,商业谈判等与进出口业务知识密切结合的有关内容。

六.教学安排本课程总共开设时间为两学年(四学期)。

课程教学内容分为四部分,第一部分( Book1 Lesson 1---Lesson 12);第二部分(Book 1 Lesson 13---Book 2 Lesson 8);第三部分(Book 2 Lesson 9---Book 3 Lesson 2);第四部分(Book 3 Lesson 3---Lesson 10),共为42个教学单元。

第一学年,每周4课时,共32周;第二学年,每周5课时。

共32周。

两学年共计288课时。
