怎样提高学生阅读理解概括能力和解题能力？
教学内容分析
阅读理解能力的培养是中学英语学习的一项重要任务，也是中考的一项重要内容。
中考阅读理解题主要考查学生的语篇阅读能力、分析和判断力。
要求学生能较快地通过阅读理解短文大意，获取其中的主要信息，能做出正确判断，然后根据试题的要求从A, B, C三个选项中选出最佳答案或回答出所提问题等等，分值达到40分。
因此，学生英语阅读理解能力直接关系到中考的成败。
所以，中考复习时对学生进
行阅读理解能力的指导是有必要的。

Step 1 Free talk and lead in
“创文创卫”是各市近几年的一项重要工作，尤其到年终的关键时刻，我们到处可以看到戴着红袖章的志愿者，他们站在寒风中维持着每天的交通顺畅，保护着我们所生存的家园干净整洁。
因此我抓住这个热门话题引入今天的阅读文章。
T: We are trying to make our city a National Civilized City. Look! Our streets are much cleaner and more beautiful thanks to them. Who are they?
Ss: They are volunteers.
T: Yes. They are students who volunteer.
导入今天第一篇阅读材料。
Mario Green and Mary Brown from Riverside High School give up several hours each work to help others.
Mary is a book lover. She could read by herself at the age of four. Last year, she decided to try out for a volunteer after-school reading program. She still works there once a week to help ki ds learn to read. “The kids are sitting in the library, but you can see in their eyes that they’re going on a different journey with each new book.
Volunteering here is a dream comes true for me. I can do what I love to do and help others at the same time.”

It is a convenient kind of transportation. It is also great exercise. And it makes a healthy lifestyle. Do you know what it is? Yep, we are talking about biking.
Most of us know that biking is a clean and cheap way to get around a city. It not only reduces traffic problems and pollution, but it is also good for people’s health.
In many countries, bike-friendly facilities are making people’s lives better.
In the world’s top bike-friendly city, Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark（丹曼）, traffic lights in the main crossings are always green for bike riders during peak（高峰）hours. And when it’s snowy, the snow is cleared from the bicycle roads first and then car roads.
The US has a special day to encourage people to ride bikes. It is Bike to Work Day on May 20th. To make cycling easy, the government had built over 200 cycle road sun
till 2014.
In China, you can also find a few bike-friendly cities. Xiamen is one of them. You can rent bikes and take a ride on the circular road（环岛路）. In Xiangtan, people have been able to rent bikes in busy areas of the city in the past two years. It’s very convenient and liked by many people.

设计的五道题围绕找中心、猜词和关注细节，这基本上就是中考阅读理解题中最常见的考察方式。
给学生一定的时间完成后，核对答案，同时还是利用超链接向学生展示答案出处。

完成练习后，告诉学生，这是中考阅读理解题型的基本考察方式。
然后和学生一一讨论如何有效抓住要点找到答案，补充上面的思维导图。
一般情况下，单项选择中的猜测词义题比较难一点，不仅需要一定的词汇量，更需要学生的综合分析判断能力，所以我用超链接实例介绍几种常见的猜词方法。
最后综合两类题型，总结出完成阅读理解任务都是遵循三部曲：浏览题干--- 带着问题阅读--- 确定答案。

其实，无论是阅读回答问题，还是阅读进行选择，学生都需要在掌握一定的词汇量基础上，运用好的方法和技巧，才能提高理解的效率，尽可能地不失分，但再好的方法还得学生亲自实践才能真正掌握。
所以就到了实战演练的时候。
两篇文章都取自近几年我市中考真题，难易适中，可以很好的检测到学生的阅读水平。
