2. Fabrication
• Per ASME B31.3 Chapter V & Chapter IX. • misalignment of bore less than 1.5mm. • Alignment of ID and OD, and also keep total dimension as design require. • Not easy, take 2~3 hours. Fit-up and welding at same time.

• • • • Local heat treatment vs. Furnace heat treatment Local: all joints, in winter, temp. difference Furnace: 10% joints, hardness goo00°C holding, 150°C cooling • Another is 630°C holding, 2 hours. • Suggested holding hour is 3~4 hours. • ODFII piping, furnace PWHT, 8hours holding, 80°C/h cooling doesn’t change pipe mechanical property.
