一：信息技术与课程整合设计
（一）设计理论
1. To treat the information as a bridge and regard teaching with interest as a main line.
2. To create the situation as teaching means, aiming at using the language from every aspect.
（二）设计内容
1. To play the video to arouse the students’interests to lead in the text.
2. To display the pictures to let the students know more about the body language and non-verbal communication.
3. To encourage the students to make up conversations and act them out.
4. To use the interests to widen their knowledge.
（三）教学应用
1. Information technology is the best approach to arouse the students’ interests of learning English and the best
bridge to help the students comprehend the teaching contents well.
2. It is also the best means to train the students to use the language effectively and the most perfect platform to update the English learning methods.
二：三维目标
Knowledge aim：To get the students to understand the
main idea and know the hurricane and
the tornado.
Ability aim：Use their own words to write a
composition.
Emotional aim：To increase their awareness of being
ready to help others.
三：教学重点
1. To grasp main ideas of this passage in a very short time.
2. To learn about the disasters and say or write a
composition.
四：教学难点
1.To understand the whole passage.
2. To let students master the passage better.

八：教学过程
Step 1. Pre-reading--------Lead-in
1) Show the students some pictures about the natural disasters and a video about the tornado in the USA.
2) Ask the students to name the disasters according
to the pictures.
Step 2. While- reading
1) Brainstorm
Let the students think up the verbs and the phrases which they can use to express the disasters and the expression to the response to the disasters.
2) Scanning.
A. Do a thorough reading and fill in the blanks.
B.Listen to the recording of the text and then answer the following questions.
C.Fill in the table according to the passage..
3)Studying by co-operation.
A.Match the phrases.
B.Fill in the blanks according the text.
4) Language points.
A.Try to let the students know the use and differences
between demage, ruin and destroy.
B.Ask the students to use the 8 kinds of the structures of leave +object +object complement.
Step 3. Post-reading
1)Have a discussion.
Faced with the earthquake, what should we do?
Ask the students to make up dialogues and then act them out.
2) Write a composition.
Ask the students to write a composition about the Wenchuan earthquake. According to the teaching process, I will ask one student whose composition is better written to read the composition before all the other students.
In the end, as a piece of music named devotion to the love is being played,I will make a conclusion.。
