My Teaching
• Undergraduate
– Livestock environment hygiene(40- hr lecture, 2.5 cr.) – Analysis of feed approximate nutrients and assessment of feed quality(8-hr lecture and 32-hr lab, 2.5 cr. )
• Laoshan dairy goats
– Lambing twice per year – Low input – On pasture all year around – Yield 600-700 kg milk
• Research focus
– To cultivate rumen fungi from Laoshan dairy goats to degrade corn stalk (mushroom bran) in vitro. – To improve digestibility of poor quality feed ingredients in ruminant animals
