教学过程：Step1: Preparation1．复习Let’s talk部分的内容，让学生做角色扮演。
2．教师出示国旗，让学生说出该国家的英文名称。
3．学生自我介绍：I’m…I’m from…Step2: Presentation1．让学生观看教学课件。
[使用Let’s learn/A相配套的视频课件]2．教师提：How many people do you see?Who are they?3．教师接着学生的答案来教读新单词。
T: Yes. We can see two people in it. They are Wu Yifan and Sarah. Wu Yifan is a boy. But Sarah is a girl.T: Look!（分别指着男孩和女孩说）This is a boy. That is a girl.4．让学生模仿说句子：This is a boy. 8．让学生再看一遍教学课件。
问学生：What does Wu Yifan say?9．学习短语Watch out! 让学生先猜一猜中文意思, 教师再解释：Watch out相当于Look out !。
10.听录音让学生跟读单词和短语。
Step3: Practice听音猜人先看Let’s play部分的视频演示，再让学生模仿做该游戏。
叫一个学生上台背对大家，下面的学生可发出奇怪的声音或用异样的声音说一句英语，讲台上的学生根据声音猜出他/她是“boy or girl”。
教师可根据课堂实际来安排游戏的时间。
Step4.Production让学生指着班上的某一个同学说：This is …He’s a boy. This is…She’s a girl.练习使用he和she来表达。
也可让学生打开书，指着书中的某一个人物来进行这一活动。

教师报一个字母，让每组的第一个学生快速地跑近黑板，将该字母的大写与小写分别取下。
先拿到正确的大小写字母卡的小组为胜者，可获一分。
计算最后结果，给与优胜小组奖励。
游戏2：拼图说单词教师把与本课单词有关的图片剪成几块，然后让学生分小组进行拼图比赛。
拼出后让学生说出单词以及该单词的第一个字母。
拼出图形加一分，说对单词加一分，说出字母加一分，最后看哪个小组得分最多，哪个小组就取得胜利。
