非英语专业本科教学大纲

非英语专业本科教学大纲英语精读第二册教学大纲本课程是为成人教育非英语专业学生开设的专业基础课,本册书学习时间总计为78学时,其中自学30学时,课堂讲授48学时,总学分:4学分。

一教学目的和任务通过本课程的学习,要求学生掌握基本的英语学习方法和语言技能,尤其注重学生的听、说、读、写、译的技能和语言综合运用的能力。

语法:●主语从句(What happens when sea water touches different elements is anothersubject .)●虚拟语气(If the water of the ocean could be moved away, the sea floor with itswide valleys, uneven mountains and submarine rivers would be an unbelievable sight.)●定语从句的关系副词(The region near the continents, where the water is notso deep,)结合课文中句子可以介绍并总结主语从句和虚拟语气的知识;区分定语从句中关系代词和关系副词的用法。

(二)教学要求要求学生掌握课文中出现的复用式单词并能够灵活运用,非复用式词汇能够发音并了解其基本意义;能够用英语复述课文;能够独立完成练习,尤其是词汇部分练习和翻译部分练习。

第二单元(讲授6课时)(一)教学内容1 Intensive reading & Extensive reading1.1 Intensive readingText Learning by Doing掌握课文主要内容句子:练习4中与课文相关的句子要求能熟练翻译成中文句子。

语法:●本课中出现的Telling no one of his plans, Dr. Coleman started his sabbaticalleave on a farm…句中,可拓展有关现在分词作状语的知识。

●本课中出现的Even though pay was important, what brought…wasknowing that someone had noticed how a job was being done.介绍有关.让步状语从句的连词although, though, even if 及相关语法知识。

第三单元(讲授6课时)(一)教学内容1 Intensive reading & Extensive reading1.1 Intensive reading Changes In the Job Market掌握课文主要内容句子:练习4中与课文相关的句子要求能熟练翻译成中文句子。

语法:●本课中出现a service economy is one in which most workers provide services句,对比定语从中which关系代词与其它关系代词的用法。

●本课中出现The following numbers will show you just how big a change thishas been.可重点介绍双宾语的用法。

●本课中出现80% of workers produced goods… nine out of ten workers willsupply services. Half of the services jobs pay low services. 介绍相关的主谓一致方面的用法。

语法:本课中出现Nowhere else in the world are sports associated with collegesand universities…结合本句介绍倒装结构的各种句型。

●本课中出现While Black comprise about 12 per cent of the country’s totalpopulation, …结合本句介绍“while”的用法以及让步状语从句知识。

●本课中出现It is not unusual to see a basketball game in which all theplayers on the floor are back. 结合本句介绍不定式做主语的句型及不定式用法的相关知识。
