第八章 汉语无主句的翻译翻译汉语无主句，可根据上下文添加主语，也可转换句子结构，译为英语中的被动句、“There be”句型、倒装句或祈使句。
一、译为被动句无主句中动词带有宾语，而且宾语比较短小，可以译为英语的被动句，利用汉语原句中的宾语作为被动句的主语。
1. 有效保护儿童权利。

动词宾语较长，或者存在多个宾语，一般采用添加主语的方法处理。

If things are not properly handled, our labor will be totally lost.三、译为复合结构英语中有很多动词词组，如努力（make efforts to）、注意（pay attention to）、强调（lay emphasis on）、使用（make use of）、重视（attach importance to）、安排（make arrangements to）等，对于有这些动词的无主句，可以从动词入手构句，将词组中的名词作为主语，利用被动语态成句，如efforts must to be made to do。

It is necessary to enhance balance and harmony between man and nature.汉语中的某些格言、经验，或带有哲理的无主句，翻译时一般可采用“There be”结构。
2. 总之，是两个方面，而不是一个方面。

Hidden underground is a wealth of minerals.无主句有两个分句构成时，两句之间关系紧密，可以利用“全句贯通法”，即把第一个分句处理为名词结构作为主语。
6.要坚持党的领导，必须改善党的领导。
