《中药英语》课程简介
开设《中药英语》的目的就是解决中医中药专业英语翻译难、交流难问题，通过实用中药英语的学习，达到能够准确翻译中药学的相关内容，提高中药专业英语的听说读写译的能力。
中医药学是我国的特色医药，中药学在中医药学中占有重要的地位。
它既是基础学科，又是临床学科，是一个不可缺少的桥梁学科。
国家制定了《中药现代化发展纲要》，并组织完成了《中药产业国际化发展战略研究》，中药的发展趋势将是现代化、市场化、国际化。
为了适应中药国际化的发展，促进国际交流，提高专业英语的能力显得尤为重要。
《中药英语》教学大纲
对象：英语专业高年级学生。
要求：
1.掌握中药学基本理论的书面英文表述，以及口语交流。
掌握中药用法正确、清晰的叙述能力，以及讲解说明能力。
2.掌握重点章节的概述，能用正确、规范的进行英文翻译及口语交流。
了解一般章节的概述的表达。
3.掌握代表性药物性能、功效、适应证的书面英文表述，以及口语叙述、交流能力。
目的：培养中医药专业方面的高级复合型、国际型人才。
通过《实用中药英语》的教授，使学生具备在中药专业上能用英语听、说、读、写的能力；培养实际运用语言的能力，要求必须做到专业术语表达的正确性、准确性，同时达到英语语法方面的正确性、规范性以及语言的流畅性。
教材：按照教学目的的要求，参考相关英文中药资料的基础上，自行编写的教学讲义。
内容:《中药学》的基本理论、基本概念以及各味药的药性、功效、临床应用、用法用量、使用注意的英文表述；中药学翻译的基本特点。

Brief Introduction of Chinese Materia Medica
Chinese Materia Medica is to solve the difficulties in translation of TCM treatment and herbs, also communicating with foreigners. By this practical course, we can translate accurately, together with the abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating improving. Chinese Materia Medica, which takes up significant position, is unique. Combined the medicinal fundamental subjects, it is also a bridge to clinical ones. China has established “The outline of Chinese Materia Medica internationalization”. The tendency of Chinese Medicinal Herbs is modernization, and internationalization. In order to adapt to the development of Chinese Medicinal Herbs internationalization, promote the international communication, it is important to improve our professional English.
Teaching Outline
Request:
1. Master Chinese Medicinal Herb’s basic theory in literary language, communicate in English. Be able to use Chinese Medicinal Herbs correctly, to recount and explain clearly.
2. Master the summarization of important chapters and sections, comprehend the common ones. Be able to translate and communicate in proper, standard English.
3. Master the representative herb’s natural capacity, efficacy and application, obtain the ability to explain and communicate.
Purpose:
Cultivate advanced talented people whose major is Chinese Medicinal Herbs. By the teaching of Practical English of Chinese Medicinal Herbs, we can enable them to listen, speak, read, write and practice in English. Accompanied the accurate expression of professional technical terms, in the meantime our students can use standard,fluent English without grammar mistake to express.

《中药英语》课程简介
《中药学》是中医学各专业的一门基础课、主干课，是基础理论与临床各科之间的桥梁，当中涉及的各种语汇既包括了中医基础理论的基本术语，同时又贯穿出现于中医临床内、外、妇、儿等各科。
该门双语课程，对于学生掌握专业知识及提高专业英语水平，甚至以后其他双语专业课的学习，具有奠基和承上启下的作用。
本课程通过双语授课的方式，在学生已学习了中医学相关知识的基础上，主要介绍中药性能、功效、配伍等内容及相关专业术语的英语表达方式和翻译技巧。
共设置48学时。
本课程的教学，将贯彻知识传授与技能培养并重的方针。
课堂教学注重理论知识的科学性、完整性、实用性、突出重点。
充分运用图片、模型、PPT幻灯片、Flash动画、多媒体课件（影音资料）等教具和仪器设备，开展实践性教学，以提高和巩固教学效果。
