Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon
(雅鲁藏布大峡谷)
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is one of the deepest and longest canyons in the world. The canyon is home to many animals and plants barely explored and affected by human influence, while its climate ranges from subtropical to Arctic.
The main religion in Tibet is Lamaism.
Kowtow(磕长头)

In 641, Songtsan Gambo, ruler of the Tubo Kingdom, had the Potala Palace built for Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty, his future bride.
Former site of Guge
(古格王国)
Guge was an ancient kingdom founded by a branch of descendents of the last king of a unified Tibet in the 10th century. It flourished for more than 700 years before encountering civil strife and foreign attacks and falling into disrepair. Now, visitors can see its ruins of temples and palaces, whose inscriptions, statues and murals still remain intact.
Prayer Wheel

The prayer wheel is an indispensable part of the Tibetan people’s life. According to the doctrine of Tibetan Buddhism, every turn of the prayer wheel is equivalent to one chanting of the scriptures. The staple food includes roasted highland barley flour, wheat flour, meat, or red food, and milk, or white food. The flavor of the Tibetan food is fresh, light, and tender. Salt, onion, and garlic are the main ingredients
Tibet tsamba(西藏糌粑)
Tsamba serves as a major snack in Tibet and is eaten by the locals every day. It is made of parched flour which comes from dried and fried highland barley.
Butter Tea
(酥油茶)
The buttered tea is the favorite drink of Tibetan people. It is made from tea leaves, yak butter, water and salt. Because butter is the main ingredient, butter tea provides plenty of caloric energy and is particularly suited to high altitudes. The butter also may help prevent chapped lips.
