is little question that Plato lectured at the Academy that he founded,
the pedagogical function of his dialogues, if any, is not known with certainty. The dialogues have since Plato's time been used to teach a range of subjects, mostly including philosophy, logic, rhetoric, mathematics, and other subjects about which he wrote.
Plato insists that students need to develop their abstract and dialetic thinking . He consider such kind of thinking ability as the tool to persuit the real knowledge of the world.
Plato is well-known philosopher, who has outstanding contribute also in the nature science. He applied his philosophy though to the field of mathematics and informed his unique philosophy of mathemitics and mathemitics astronomy. In the methodology he combined his ideas to mathematic, which be decontaminated by reason coupled with mathematical logic analysis, and got his unique mathematical philosophy. His philosophy was applied to astronomy and pushed to the entire universe, therefore opened the way for the development of mathematical astronomy. He combinated his idealism in the system of conception with the mathematic thinking of ontology which had a profound impact on the development of nature science.
