South China tiger ,also k nown as "China tiger," is a unique species of the ti ger, living in southcentral China.
Tiger-hung is about 2.5 meters (plus head) and weighing about 150 kilograms . Cihu is about 2.3 meters and weighing about 110 kg.80-100 cm long tail. There is also a short and narrow stripes on the fur.
.They mainly lives in the mountain forests. Most of them lives alone, not in groups .At night ,they have welldeveloped sense of smell, quick action, and be good at swimming ,except climbing the trees.
• General requirements of habitat, forest coverage rate is about 50%. In the past, south China tiger number is also the most. southwest of the vast region, shuhe, longdong, the western and be even individual regions also have been discovered.
Habitat
South China mainly live within 3000 meters of broadleaved forest and needle broadleaf mixed forest and dense thickets, is a more typical forest animals.

Identifying characteristics
A round head, short ears, large limbs .A strong long tail. chest and abdomen miscellaneous are white, yellow and orange. Body is covered with a black band.
in the 1950s, the government announced that the south China tiger is one of the "four harms“ ,so people began to kill them crazily ,they all think it's a vermin .later on, people hunt them just for it's fur and bones, because they are expensive
