议论文不同类型参考范文—discuss类型Discuss both views and give your opinion.1)中间平衡,结尾给出个人观点•Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed schools.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.•Some countries have single-sex education models, while in others both single sex and mixed schools co-exist and it is up to the parents or the children to decide which model is preferable.••Some educationalists think it is more effective to educate boys and girls in single-sex schools because they believe this environment reduces distractions and encourages pupils to concentrate on their studies. This is probably true to some extent. It also allows more equality among pupils and gives more opportunity to all those at the school tochoose subjects more freely without gender prejudice. For example, a much higher proportion of girls study science to a high level when they attend girls’ schools than their coun terparts in mixed schools do. Similarly, boys in single-sex schools are more likely to take cookery classes and to study languages which are often thought of traditional subjects for girls.•On the other hand, some experts would argue that mixed schools prepare their pupils better for their future lives. Girls and boys learn to live and work together from an early age and are consequently not emotionally underdeveloped in their relations with the opposite sex. They are also able to learn from each other and to experience different types of skill and talent, which is often impossible in a single gender environment.••Personally, I think that there are advantages to both systems. I went to a mixed school, but feel that I myself missed the opportunity to specialise inscience because it was seen as natural domain and career path for boys when I was a girl. So because of that, I would have preferred to go to a girls’ school. But hopefully times have changed and both genders of students can have equal chances to study what they want to in whichever type of school they attend.2)先弱后强结构(虽然….但是…..)•People have different opinions about how to tackle the problem of the declining level of health in the general population. In my opinion, although increasing the number of sports facilities may encourage people to be physically active, it is not the most effective method to improve the level of health and other measures are necessarily needed.••On the one hand, it is likely that the increase in the number of sports facilities helps to encourage people to stay healthy. If there were more easy-to-reach local sports centres, people would be more likely to make exercise a regular part of their lives. Rather than just collapse in front of the screen every evening, they would spend some quality time swimming or jogging, which contributes positively to good health and fitness. In addition, the variety of sports that could be offered would cater for all ages, levels of fitness and interests. For example, those with painful memories of PE at school might be happier in theswimming pool than on the football pitch.•On the other hand, however, I believe that increasing the number of facilities for physical activities is not the best solution to health-related problems. My first reason is that interest in sport is not universal, so additional facilities might simply attract the already fit, not those who most need them. In addition, as well as physical activity, many other measures can function efficiently towards lifting the level of health in general population. High tax penalties could be imposed on high-fat food products, tobacco and alcohol, as excessive consumption of any of these contributes to poor health. Even improving public transport would help, because it takes longer to walk to the bus stop than to the car.••In conclusion, my view is that focusing on sports facilities is too narrow an approach and would not have the desired results. People should be encouraged not only to be more physically activebut also to adapt a healthier lifestyle in general.3)另一个先弱后强结构(虽然….但是…..)的例子Some people think that we should send messages to contact intelligent lives on other planets, while others say that it is dangerous to do so. Discuss both views and give your opinion.1.Many people, including scientists and amateur astronomers, have conflicting views as to the question of whether we should send signals to contact aliens light years away from the Earth. In my opinion, although the attempt to search and contact intelligent aliens may bring us some positive changes, we are far from being prepared to do so.2.On the one hand, from the perspective of some optimists, there may be great benefits to connecting alien life forms. It is likely that our neighbours in space would lend us their far more advanced technologies to solve a series of problems on the Earth. For example, environmental pollution could be eradicatedand life-threatening diseases could be cured if we are technologically improved by our alien friends. What’s more, with their help and assistance, human beings may be able to make a significant step forward to live beyond the Earth. This means that we would no longer be afraid of facing any catastrophe that might destroy our home planet.3.On the other hand, however, I believe that proponents of contacting extraterrestrial life are overly optimistic and that doing so leads to a higher possibility of endangering human beings. My first reason is that the Earth may be attacked by intelligent lives from the outer space. This is because they may not be as friendly as we expect. In possession of far more powerful technology and with hostile intentions, aliens we manage to contact would rob us of our resources and even enslave us. In addition, even if these alien visitors were friendly, their visit to us would still lead to disasters, as they may come along with viruses and germs not existing on the Earth.4.In conclusion, I admit that our curiosity for the existence of other intelligent lives has been there for centuries, but I do not agree that we should let them know where the Earth is now until we are technologically prepared to face all possibilities.。
