四、“祝愿;祝贺”类 ⒈当听到令人高兴的事时,通常用I’m glad to hear that来应答;否则用I’m sorry to hear that来 应答。 ⒉当对方向你表示祝愿时,常用The same to you 或You,too来回答。但对Happy birthday to you的回答常用Thank you。 ⒊当对方在某项活动,如考试、比赛时,向对方 表示祝福用Good luck。 ⒋当对方在某方面取得成就或成功时,常用 Congratulations 来表示。
回答感谢,道歉用语:
1.感谢的礼貌回答有That’s all right;That’s OK;Not at all;You’re welcome;Don’t mention it;It is a pleasure,forget it,think nothing of it/it’s nothing.等; 2.对歉意的礼貌回答有:That’s all right;It doesn’t matter;Never mind;Forget it ; That’s\It’s nothing,not at all等。 3.均可:That’s all right, That’s OK, forget it,Not at all. it,think nothing of it/it’s nothing.
⒉ No problem意为“没问题;成”。通常 用于对别人的请求表示同意。类似的表达 还有:All right;OK。
⒊ It doesn’t matter相当于No matter, 意为“没关系;不要紧”,通常用于对别 人道歉的答语。
• Forget (about) it
1. 用来回答感谢,意为:算不了什么,不用谢了。 A:Thanks a lot. B:Forget it. 2. 用来回答道歉,意为:没关系 A:I’m sorry for what I said. B:Forget it! I don’t remember anyway. 3. 表示不愿重复说过的话,意为:没什么;别提了。 A:Sorry, what did you say? 二、pleasure类
1.It’s a pleasure=A pleasure=My pleasure, 意为“不用谢;这是我乐意做的”,通常是对 thank you 的回答。 2.With pleasure=Yes\Certainly,意为“当然 可以;愿意效劳”。类似的答语还有:All right; OK;No problem;I’d like to等,主要用于对别 人的请求表示乐意去做的场合。
3. 表示语气很强的否定,意为“真的没有”“的确没 有”。 A:Did you watch the news on TV last night? B:Not really.
Come on
(1) 用来表示请求、鼓励、劝说等,意为:来吧;行啊。 Come on, you can do it. (2) 用来催促别人快走(做),意为:快点。 Come on, it’s getting dark. (3) 用于挑战或激怒对方,意为:来吧;好吧;试试吧。 Come on! 对Do\Would you mind…的回答
表示“不介意”时常用No, not at all;of course not;certainly not;No, please; No,go ahead等; 表示“介意”的回答为You had better not; You’d rather not;I’m afraid…not;I’m sorry,but…等。
五、Go ahead,Help yourself,
⒈Go ahead表示鼓励对方做某事,意为“请吧; 请说吧;请开始吧;请尽管用”。、 ⒉Help yourself可表示“请随便吃、喝”外, 还可表示“请自己动手做…或拿…”。

1. 表示轻微的否定,意为“不很”。 A:Do you want to come along? B:Not really. 2. Was he sorry for what he has done? Not really(事实上没有,并没有)
Never mind
• “Never mind”意为“没关系”、“不要紧”,常应用 于下列场合: 1) 回答对方的致歉 —I’m sorry. I came in a hurry and forgot to bring food. —Never mind. You can have ours.
2) 安慰对方。 —Did you watch the baseball match yesterday? —No, I missed it. By the time I got there, it had already finished. —Never mind. It was a boring match.
