Phase 2 of GICEC
Phase 2 of expansion project commenced mid-January 2017. The total investment of the second phase is approximately RMB 6 billion and will cover 300 000 m2. Similar to Phase 1, the expansion will include five exhibition halls, each covering 10 000 m2 with a load-bearing capacity of 10 tons per m2. The precinct will also accommodate a hotel, food and beverage outlets and a commercial hub. It is expected to be completed before the fourth quarter of 2018. On completion, the Center will boast a total 100 000 m2 .

会展中心一期
广 东 潭 洲 国 际 会 展 中 心 首 期 工 程 总 建 筑 面 积 约1 1 . 7万m ²， 室 内 净 展 览 面 积5万m ²， 分 为 五 个 无 柱 式 的 专 业 展 厅 ， 已 于 2016年9月正式投入使用。其中1、4、5号展厅是全国唯一荷载为10吨/ m²的展厅，2、3号展厅设计荷载为5吨/ m²。会展中 心一期的配套部分——登录厅、会议中心及连廊等，将于2017年8月底建成。
