本文从领导影响力的实质出发,通过研究当代知名经济管理学和领导学等领域的观点及著作,分别探讨了领导影响力的分类,即权利性影响力与非权利性影响力的区别,说明领导影响力所起的关键作用,并比较两者之间的特点和关系,即权力性影响力与非权力影响力之间是有区别而又具有相互依赖性。
在此基础上,又分别探讨了领导影响力的来源,什么是影响力的源泉?经过对当代卓越领导者的研究分析之后,得出以下结论:它是由思想家、专家、品格等主要因素所决定的。
沃伦·本尼斯说过:“关于领导,最危险的问题是认为领导者是天生的、领导是需要某些天赋的,认为人要不就是具有某些天生的影响力,要不就没有这些。
这真是无稽之谈!事实正好相反,领导者是后天养成的,而不是天生的。
”【1】正如沃伦·本尼斯所述,领导的个人影响力不是天生的,是可以通过后天培养的。
因此,领导影响力的塑造与养成是至关重要的。
从影响力的构成可以追寻出,领导的个人影响力塑造不外乎两种途径:提升权利性影响力和非权利性影响力,即外力塑造和自我塑造。
自我塑造对于领导者来说更有主动性,也更重要。
为此,我们重点探讨的是领导影响力的自我塑造过程。
自我塑造的过程主要是依赖于领导者的四个特性。
此外,领导者如何使用自身的影响力在某种程度上起着至关重要的作用,在领导影响力的发挥和使用上,我们提出七大方略。
同时,领导影响力的使用还须有一些原则进行辅助约束,我们提出六大原则,以促使领导者更加完善自身领导力。
