1 第一单元: 植物育种学的社会贡献及其发展趋势 植物育种学是围绕人类需求利用自然变异及人工创造的变异,按照一定的目标进行选择,筛选出新品种并繁育推广的科学,是研究作物人工进化理论与方法的应用科学。植物育种学以遗传学、进化论为主要理论基础,涉及植物学、植物生态学、植物生理、生化、植物病理学、农业昆虫学、农业气象学、生物统计与试验设计、生物技术、农产品加工、作物栽培学等领域的知识与研究方法。本单元要求在回顾植物育种学基本概念、发展历史的基础上,掌握植物育种学在满足人们生活需求、促进社会发展方面所体现的作用和意义,分析当今社会发展过程中植物育种学面临的机遇与挑战,并重点讨论植物育种相关知识产权和新品种保护等方面的进展与趋势,包括以下3个论题: Topic 1 Meeting human needs through plant breeding Topic 2 Plant breeding and its social context Topic 3 Plant variety protection and intellectual rights
