Step 1: Warming up
1.Sing a song《I’m a little teacher》
2. Free talk:
T:What does he do? S:He’s a teacher.
T:What does your father do? S:He’s a ….
T: Good. Look at these sentences. Can you find the rules?
S: want to be+job/ want to+do
T: Yes, you’re so clever.
5. Fun time
T: We know how to ask and tell about dreams. So let’s do a survey in our groups. Four students are in a group. The three ask together, one answers, the others write down his/her name beside the jobs. If your group member’s dream isn’t on the list, please write at the bottom of it. Who wants to join me? I’ll invite three students to show us how to do. At the end, don’t forget to do a report together. “In our group, … student(s) want(s) to be …, … student(s) want(s) to be …, …” One reports.
