The course was extremely difficult and few horses were expected to finish. All eyes were on thefavourites Sting (马的名字)and Lewis（马的名字）. Both horses had won a great manyraces in the past and they had equal chances of winning now.Though the two horses got off to a good start, it was not long before over half of them were out of the race. As was expected, Sting and Lewis became gradually backward. On a sharp corner,three rider falls, leading to the back of the horse into confusion. As the race progressed, the track became full of horses without riders. Towards the end, there were only three horses left: college boy and sweet seventeen were still leading with an unknown horse, Tom , a very long way behind. The crowd was very disappointed because the riders of both favourite horses failed to keep the saddle. Everybody burst into joy when sting continued but no rider!Tom now took his time and the crowd cheered and applauded as he crossed the finishing line without a rival in sight.3. I was told by doctor to lie in bed for one month or so, which deeply frustrated me. Still more disappointedly, my classmate and I had planned a trip to ZhongShan Park to celebrate my birthday the follow Sunday. However, now my plan melted into the air. There was no doubt that I would have a lonely and boring birthday. To my surprise, on the afternoon of my birthday, several classmates turned up in my home with a bunch of flowers and wonderful gifts. We had a merry chat, singing Karaoke（卡拉ok）and playing cards. Some of them were even from Beijing, the capital city of China ,which is about 2000 kilometres from Hong Kong. I really wanted to watch the performance,but unfortunately,I didn't get a ticket. So I can only watch his performance on TV.Alan Tam is one of the most popular stars in China. He is living in Hong Kong. His family is very happy. He has a good wife and one lovely son. So we are all willing to go on an excursion during the spring.We went to Renmin Park hold some activities and all of my classmates were so excited that they looked like the birds just coming out from birdcage. We playing games, boating, and fishing there. At the same time, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of spring. Some people in the park also joined us and had fun. We can fly kites and enjoy the sunshine.We also contacted many kinds of flowers.It is also the first time for me to meet a lot of different trees.We had a happy day and the relationship of classmates were getting closer.。
