尊敬的各位领导各位老师好,我今天说课的内容是八年级下册Unit1 what’s the matter section A(1a—2c)。

一、说教材:
本单元以“what’s the matter ”为话题展开教学活动。

首先学会如何正确表达不同的疾病。

再学会如何根据他人的种种不适提出建议。

通过运用本单元的句型“what’s the matter ”“I have a ……””you should / shouldn’t ……”及本单元的听力练习、各种方式的口语交际活动,使学生积极参与合作从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

二说学情
1.多数学生不够关心身体健康
2.很少有学生能够用英语表达出身体不适并提出合理化的建议。

3.学生不愿意开口说英语,对自己口语不自信。

4.学生对英语学习的理解不正确。

三说教法学法
1.本节课采用把课堂交给学生的教学理念,学生为主导,教师引导;
2.我运用情景教学任务教学引入该课话题;
3.分组活动、合作练习等方法来学习新课重点;
4.借助多媒体、投影仪等手段让学生在轻松愉悦中讨论并求知。

四说教学目标
1 、知识目标
①The names of body parts:head ,tooth ,neck ,stomach
②illness: have a cold,have a fever ,have a sore throat , have a toothache ,
have a stomachache,have a headache
③Advice: drink lots of water ,lie down and rest,drink some hot tea with honey,see a dentist ,.
④Dialogues : What’s the matter with sb
Sb should or shouldn’t……
2 、能力目标
通过此课的学习,使学生能够学会询问身体不适和给出建议
3 、情感目标
关心身体,保持健康
五说教学重难点
教学重点:
1.掌握本节课的重点词组的发音
2.学会如何询问他人病情并给出相应的建议。

教学难点:
1.重点语法have 和should/shouldn't 的实用。

2.把英语运用的日常生活中来。

六教学过程
Step1 :presentation:
Show a body look at the picture ,teach the words of body parts , please say the words when I point the different parts , finish off one 1a (老师指着幻灯片中人物身体的各个部分让学生说出单词,通过抢答调动学生的积极性,形成良好的课堂氛围)Step2: illness:
Show pictures look at the pictures carefully find out what’s the matterwhat’s wrong with them
Teacher ask:
What’s the matte r with him He has a fever
What’s wrong with her
What’s the matter with ……
She has a cold
出示几个不同的图片,猜测病情。

学生重复练习,在半真实的语境中感受学习,引出what’s the matter 和疾病短语。

教师板书讲解:“what’s the matter”“
I have a headache,stomachache ,toothache ”
彩色笔的提示使学生自然的学会知识。

Step3: Advice:
Show some pictures ,how to give some different advice on different illness. ask: what’s the matter with him
answer : he has a fever.
T: maybe he should drink lots of water .
You should take some medicine.
You should go to the doctor’s .
You should take his temperature.
ask: what’s the matter with her
answer :she has a stomachache.
Teacher : maybe she shouldn’t eat anything .(should eat nothing)
反复出示图片,教师学生合作问答询问病情,出示投影should+动词原形,否定形式在其后加not ,缩写成shouldn’t .
Step4:Listening :
Look at the book ,listen carefully . 给些听前指导(give them several minutes finish off 1b 2a 2b,老师放录音,学生跟读,最后核对答案)
Step5: Pair work
Role play conversations .通过此活动把所学知识进行巩固和拓展,出示图片,两个人一组,互相询问,讨论病情,提出建议。

Step6: summary and homework.
1 When you have health problems ,you may say “I have a ……”,other people may give you some advice ,like “you should ……”or “you shouldn’t ……”
2 Make a conversation on how to give advice when they get sick.
Show these sentences ,please give them some advice ①He has a sore throat. ②I have a headache
Step7: blackboard design.
