蓝天杯教学设计

八年级上册英语 Unit3 A day out Welcome to the unit句容市宝华中学张文娟(212415)一、课题:《八年级上册英语》Unit 3 A day out welcome to the unit二、教材简解:《八年级上册英语》教材中第一模块的主题为“Teenage life”;第二模块的主题为“Nature and the environment”。

各模块涵盖四个单元,每个单元在形式上相对独立,在内容上互为联系与补充,并有内在延续性。

Unit 3是第一模块中的第三单元,话题为“A day out”,该单元内容围绕“Linda’s trip to Sunshine Town”展开讨论,充分展示了该模块的主题。

《八年级上册英语》中的每个单元的每个板块围绕一个中心话题有序展开,教材的设计是依据课标并遵循学生的语言认知规律而编排的。

Unit3 A day out 中welcome to the unit的A部分展示国外著名城市及景点。

B部分鼓励学生运用英语和同伴谈论景点。

A部分我对展示了一些有关各地名胜的图片及信息,我认为说前的准备积累工作对于后面是否能顺利完成交流任务是至关重要的。

B部分虽然以谈论和交流为主,和A部分之间可以找到切合之处,怎样提高口语,达到语言运用和共同参与的效果是我努力尝试的目标,这也是本课的教学重点。

三、目标预设1. 知识目标掌握本课的重点词汇、句型及其用法。

词汇:ourselves Australia coffee top president wide ton词组:come on enjoy oneself take a boat trip go pasthave a great time take care coffee shop句型:what are you going to do, Eddie?I’m going to exercise.You need to exercise and keep fit.2. 能力目标(1)学会识别国外著名城市和景点。

(2)能够运用英语和他人谈论景点。

(3)流利的朗读对话并表演,注意正确的语音语调。

3. 情感目标通过对本课的学习,了解国内外的景点名胜,热爱旅游,热爱生活。

四、教学重、难点重点:(1)根据图片,信息识别国内外景点。

(2)能够熟练运用本节课的重点词汇,词组。

难点:学会如何谈论景点的句型,和同伴沟通交流。

五、设计理念本节课旨在通过第一课时,让学生了解积累国内外一些著名城市及景点的信息,有了一定的输入后,让学生可以谈论关于旅游及景点的话题,培养学生的兴趣及语言运用的能力。

六、设计思路通过展示多个城市景点图片激发学生兴趣;与学生自由谈论,引入本课的内容;在展示,呈现,操练环节中运用任务型教学,巧设任务,激发学生说的兴趣,培养学生的语言运用能力。

呈现,展示部分利用两人合作,小组探究的多种方式方法;最后,通过不同层次的课堂检测,帮助学生掌握本课重点词汇和句型,让每个学生都有所得。

七、教学过程Step 1 Lead-inFree talk:T: Do you like traveling? What places did you visit before?Ss: Beijing、Nanjing、Shanghai---T: Yes, they are beautiful cities.T: What places in the world would you like to go?Ss: the USA、the White House、England、Harbor Bridge---T: Yes, they are some foreign countries and places of interest in the world.T: How can we go on a trip?Ss: By bus、by plane、by train、by boat/take a boat.【设计说明】通过自由谈论,新授一些单词,联系学生的生活,激发学生的学习兴趣,自然流畅导入话题,学生易于接受。

Step 2 Presentation1.T:Look at these postcards .Do you know the names of them? Do you know where they are?【设计说明】通过展示印有白宫、埃菲尔铁塔、塞纳河、悉尼歌剧院、港湾大桥的明星片,引导学生回答问题,同时呈现答案,是学生更多了解,并掌握名称,发音等.2.T:Amy and Simon’s friends’ went to these places of interest. Read the postcards and match them with the pictures,and do some exercises of each one.Postcard1: Ask and answer:T:1).What place did Nick visit?The Harbor Bridge and the Opera House.2). How did he travel?By boat.Postcard2:Make a choice.Where did Leo write the postcard? ( )A:In a little clothes shop by the River Seine.B: In a little coffee shop by the River Seine.C: In a little shoe shop by the River Seine.Postcard3: Fill in the blanks.White House is a beautiful building with _____ ______ _______and______ _______.【设计说明】展示了解了明星片上景点的基本信息后,顺利流畅的衔接到PartA 的部分,通过不同的任务联系,让学生更了解这些景点的信息。

3. T:Simon searched on the Internet for some information about places of interest.He is answering Amy’s questions.Listen and answer:1)What place of interest do they talk about? They talk about the Golden Bridge.2)What is the bridge made of? It’s made of steel.3)How much does this bridge weigh? It weighs over 100,000 tons.【设计说明】通过听对话回答问题的方式,让学生更专注的去寻找问题的答案,利用所学的听力技巧捕捉老师设置的问题中的关键信息,学以致用,有助于提高学生的听力水平。

4.T: Now we have known a lot about these world-famous places. Please talk about these places.The teacher gives a model with a good student then asks the students to do pair work with their desk mates with the help of these three postcards.Pair work:A: Which ____________country do you want to visit?B: I want to visit____________.A: Which ____________do you want to go to?B: I want to go to ____________.A: How will you go there?B: I can ____________.A: _______ do you want to go there?B: Because ____________.A: I hope you will enjoy yourselves./have a nice time there.【设计说明】通过让学生进行两两对话,进一步巩固,同时也训练学生口头表达能力,运用所学知识与同伴谈论景点。

Step 3. Comic stripT: Our old friend Eddie will go on a trip. Do you think that Eddie can enjoy himself going traveling? Why?1.Listen and answer: What is Eddie going to do? Ss: He is going to exercise.2.Read and answer: What kind of hill is Eddie going to climb? Ss: food hill.3.Act it out.4.Tell a story about Eddie with the help of some sentences.【设计说明】利用问题承上启下,和漫画内容衔接。

通过听、读、演、说多样任务让学生熟悉理解漫画内容。

Step 4. Try to be a guideEddie can have a day out . We will also go on a trip to someplace .But we need a guide, who wants to be the guide? Come on , show us around the place of interest.Hello, boys and girls. I’m your guide. Today I will take you to see _______. It’s in _______. There you can see ___________. You can also ________________. I hope you will ________yourselves.【设计说明】让学生争当小导游的方式引起学生的兴趣,将所学到的谈论景点的句型进行信息输出。

通过小组合作拓宽学生知识的积累和运用,激发学生的求知欲和表现欲,给予学生学习的乐趣,使不同层次的学生都有所提高,增强他们学习的信心。
