命题分析07、08年的广东省高考题单项选择被消了，而代之出现的是和完形填空组合在一起的新型语言知识及应用。
简单地从形式上我们把这种语法考查归类为完形填空，便于我们进行分析。
今年我们就外在形式上进行一下分析。
首先，原来的“老完形”的题量降到原来的二分之一，但分数是原来的三分之二。
内容上比原来更加精炼，篇幅更短。
主要考查的还是学生的语言的综合运用能力，例如；惯用词和词组的考查，当然，由于英语教育的先锋性，较之于全国英语学生的平均水平，他们的难度更高点。
对他们而言，所谓的惯用词和词组要高一筹。
其次，我们的新生儿“语法填空”，打开窗户说亮话，我就是考查你的语法，不像原来的单项选择，不敢顾名思义。
而且避免了那些不会做，不懂语法的学生用几秒钟就能蒙出个高分这种不公平的现象的发生。
分值仍为原来的十五分，而题量为十个，这就给那些不重视语法的学生敲响了警钟，不好好学不行，学会了不仔细还行，没有选项，你就没有了任何依赖，只能靠自己平常扎实的练习才能考场上应对自如，真正把学生的语法能力考了出来，可谓良策。
