Good evening,honorable judges,fellow comrades.The title of my speech today is how to cultivate Strategic thinking.
First of all, what is strategic thinking?
Strategic thinking, often depicted as “helicopter thinking”, is the creative and relentless process which offers maximum advantage to arrive at a cunning plan. One should look far ahead at work ,plan in full consideration when determining major events.
Second ,why Strategic thinking?
Strategic thinking means long-term success and sustainable development. Under that thinking, we won’t have a crash at immediate profits. Let’s take the China-US cooperation as instant. Both sides engage in closer cooperation instead of looking at each other with hatred because they focus on the nations’future. Premier Li Keqiang said, “China’s door is always open and will only open to the world”. Our country is willing to enhance the communication with others for further development. We determinedly work to deepen reform and opening up.
That strategic thinking does.
So, last, how can we cadet be a strategic thinker?
To be a strategic thinker,we must be able to see the end result of our vision, and work backward from that point to where we are at the present; Then build the correct road map to move forward.
We should focus on our vision to start noticing things related it.
We should look beyond the obvious, search for connections between situations that are not obviously related.
We should think systemically,combine intuition and data,and analyse possibility.
We have to focus on the whole,not the parts,find relationships between elements! That’s all. Thank you!。
