三、客房预订的种类
1、临时预订 (Simple Reservation) 客人的订房日期与抵店日期接近，甚至是抵店当日的订房。
2、确认类预订 (Confirmed Reservation) 酒店以口头或书面方式给予客人确认并答应为订房客人保 留房间至某一事先约定的时间。包括口头确认和书面确认。

三、其他房价知识
1、房间差价
饭店将面积、设备相同的房间按楼层、位置、朝向的不同 制定出不同的价格。
2、房间升级
当客人所订的客房售完时，饭店将高一档次的客房给客人 而只售客人原定客房档次的房费。
3、服务费
涉外饭店经有关部门批准向客人收取的服务费用，其金额 根据客人消费额的一定百分比收取。
4、城建税
由县以上人民政府批准，向每位住店客人按人数或按房费 的一定百分比收取，并上交当地政府用于改进市政建设的 税种。

4、等待类预订 (Waiting Reservation)
客房已出租完以后，仍接受一部分客人提出的等待要求， 将其列入等待名单。一旦有其他的客人取消预订或提前离 店，饭店就会通知这部分客人，确认他们的预订。
中央预订系统（Computer Reservation System）
原指航空公司电脑预订中心，现已成为国际上很多著名饭店集团 在其成员饭店（联号）内运行的专业预订系统。如1965年假日饭 店集团推出的Holidex2000预订系统，年接2500万个预订电话。
