Test Method6.1 Permissible variation in dimension and thickness, diagonal differences be tested by methods providedin GB 11614.6.2 Tortuosity Test6.2.1 Untempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet should be tested by methods provided in GB11614.6.2.2 Tempered and semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet should be tested by methodsprovided in GB 17841-1999.6.3 Appearance Quality Test6.3.1 Test for Pinhole, Spot and ScratchIn the environment, never be affected by the outside light, use black and unglazed screen with several paralleled 40w fluorescent tubes distanced by 300mm. The glass samples should be vertical placed, the film face to observer, paralleled with fluorescent tubes and distanced by 600mm, observerstays as far as 600mm away from the glass, observe with eyesight vertical with the glass, as showed in picture 1, defect size should be measured by the reading microscope precision of 0.1 mm; the length of scratches should be measured by steel tape with minimum scale of 1 mm.Picture 1 Schematic Diagram of Measurement of pinhole,spot and scratch6.3.2 Test for streak and dark stripeAs shown in picture 2, under homogeneous exposure of scattered light, The glass samples should be vertical placed, the glass face to observer, observer stays as far as 3m away from the glass, observe with eyesight 30°normal to the glass.Picture 2 Schematic Diagram of Measurement of streak and dark stripe6.4 Test for Optical PropertyOptical property should be test by GB/T 11942.Conditions for Illumination and observation are vertical illumination / diffuse reception(including specular reflection, O/t)or diffuse illumination/vertical reception(including specular reflection, t/O).Optical collector or black frieze should be installed on the back of the test samples. Or during the whole process of chromatic aberration measurement, the backgrounds of test samples keep with one accord, and take the mirror reflector as working part. Chromatic aberration(ΔEab) should be estimated by color differenceformula of CIE1976LAB Uniform color space, the color difference unit is CIELAB, samples should be middle parts, when testing reflection color of one-side coated glass, test the glass side(not coated side).6.5.2 Sampling Method6.5.2.1 Samples from one piece of glass: pick 5 pieces of samples from four corners and middle of the glass. The edge of samples should be 50mm away from the glass(as picture 3).Picture 3 Sample Positions6.5.2.2 Samples from the same series of glass: pick 5 samples randomly, test samples by the method of 6.5.2.1.6.5.2.3 When it’s not able or convenient to make samples for tempered and semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet, we can use Portable spectrophotometer to test by the method in 6.5.3 and place required in 6.5.2.6.5.3 Test for Color Uniformity6.5.3.1 Chromatic aberration of one piece of glass: take the middle sample as standard, compared with other four corner samples in reflected color and get four ΔEab values, the maximum value is the chromatic aberration of this glass.6.5.3.2 Chromatic aberration of a series of glass: At the same place, measure samples made by method of 6.5.2.2 and get the L,a,b values, take the max or min value of a or b as standard sample,compared with other four corner samples in reflected color and get four ΔEab values, the maximum value is the chromatic aberration of this glass.6.6 Test for Abrasion Resistance6.6.1 SampleTake the 100mm*100mm glass which has the same crafting with the products as sample. For tempered and semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet, choose semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet as sample.6.6.2 Abrasion TesterAbrasion tester should meet the demand of GB/T 5137.1.6.6.3 Procedure6.6.3.1 Use spectrophotometer to measure the visible light transmittance at four points of picture 4 according to GB/T 2680 before abrasion, and calculate the average value.6.6.3.2 Take the coated side as wearing surface, install the sample on the Horizontal rotary table of abrasion tester and spin sample, keep the surface of abrasive wheel clean before every abrasion. Spin samples 200 times; the width of grinding should not be smaller than 10mm after abrasion.Picture 4 Measure Position6.6.3.3 For the samples after abrasion, use the same equipment to measure the visible light transmittance at four points of picture 4, and calculate the average value.6.6.3.4 Calculate the absolute value of the average value of visible light transmittance before and after abrasion.6.7 Test for Acid Resistance6.7.1 SampleTake the 25mm*50mm glass which has the same crafting with the products as sample. For tempered and semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet, choose semi-tempered sunlight-controlled coated glass sheet as sample.6.7.2 Procedure6.7.2.1 Use spectrophotometer based on GB/T 2680 to measure the visible light transmittance before dipping.6.7.2.2 Submerge the sample into the (23士2)°C,1 mol/L hydrochloric acid for 24 hours.6.7.2.3 After dipping, wash and dry the sample, measure the visible light transmittance with the same equipment.6.7.2.4 Calculate the absolute value of the average value of visible light transmittance before and after dipping.6.8 Test for Alkali Resistance6.8.1 SampleUse spectrophotometer based on GB/T 2680 to measure the visible light transmittance before dipping.6.8.2 Submerge the sample into the (23士2)°C,1 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution for 24 hours.6.8.2.3 After dipping, wash and dry the sample, measure the visible light transmittance with the same equipment.6.8.2.4 Calculate the absolute value of the average value of visible light transmittance before and after dipping.。
