Guangzhou: When lift use over 15 years and exist high breakdown frequency, safety technic evaluation shall be done and judge whether lift need replacement and mod. Fujian/Shenzhen: After cage was decorated, the total car mass is over the original design Wt. while the client can’t remove redundant cage decoration, the lift will be proceeded the modernization.

⑴国质检锅[2003]251《机电类特种设备安装改造维修许 可规则》试行 It describes the definition and difference of lift installation/maintenance/modernization as below: ① If the below parameters change, it belong to modernization. -Rated Speed, Rated Capacity, -Drive Mode, Operation, Control System, - Travel, Car Weight. ②If the type and Spec. change of below parts(pls see attached fig) causes the above parameters change, it also belong to Modernization.
