Give two sentences “I have had lunch. /I had lunch.” Let the students tell out the difference between two sentences. Then ask the students to list the structures of two tenses and the phrases of time. Next ask the students to fill in the blanks(on exercise paper),after that, the students can make up the sentences by using the tenses, the advanced students can even write short passages or dialogues to express their ideas. 本专题学习目标

The eight tenses are the language difficulty in junior middle school. In this period, the students must know the differences among the eight tenses, then know the structures of eight tenses, next they must know the phrases of time, let them learn to use the eight tenses to make up sentences, do pair work, write short passages, improve their ability of co-operation and abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
