Tips regarding Business letter writing style:
• · A good business letter advertises your capabilities and those of your company. • · A good business letter is neat and symmetrical(对称), with no typographical(印刷), grammatical, or spelling errors. • · The language should be clear and simple. • · The first sentence should state the purpose of the letter. • · When responding to a letter, identify the subject and date of the previous letter in the first paragraph. • · Paragraphs should be short, and each paragraph should focus on a different topic. • · Use lists or italics where appropriate to make it easier for the reader to find important points. • ·Focus on the reader’s needs and interests. • · Avoid jargon(行话)。 • · End with a call for action.
