《雪夜林边小驻》收录于获得普利策奖的诗集《新罕姆什尔》 （1923)，诗中表现了主人公在大自然代表的未知世界和 小镇代表的世俗世界间所面临的两难选择。 这也是诗人弗罗斯特最著名的一首短诗。诗人本人 曾声称这是他最喜欢的一首诗。全诗用平淡质朴的语言， 流畅舒缓的节奏描绘了诗人在新英格兰冬日傍晚雪花缤纷、 神秘幽暗的树林旁驻足观望、流连忘返的情景。面对恬静 舒适的树林，眼前雪花飘飘、微风习习。诗人的思绪在徘 徊：要回到纷纷扰扰的人类社会中，去完成自己未尽的义 务呢？还是就此止步不前了呢？作者内心的孤寂和困惑跃 然纸上。

About the Poet
