关于表示欢迎的话题，学生在二年级已经学过了Welcome to my house. 表示建议的话题，学生在二年级学过：Le t’s go home and watch the cartoons. .这些上位知识同学们都很熟悉，对新知的学习起到辅助作用。
第二单元的话题是关于询问他人生日的。
二年级上学期学过数字的单词1--20，为这单元学习序数词的单词做铺垫。
第三单元是有关描述和询问天气的话题。
在二年级下学期已经学习了四季的名称以及描述天气的句子It’s a nice spring day.为学习天气的句子做了铺垫第五单元是关于借物和询问对方收集何物的话题。
在二年级时已经学过借物的句子：Can I use your phone 关于文具的单词，学生已经学习了：bag, book, pen等。
第六单元是关于询问日期、年龄的话题。
关于日期，学生在二年级学习了星期的单词，并在第一单元学习了序数词，为日期的表达做了铺垫。
关于年龄，学生在二年级上学过How old are you I ‘m seven today. 对询问年龄并不陌生。
第七单元是关于一年中的几个重要节假日的名称及其所在月份和日期的话题。
关于节假日的名称，学生以前学过的有：Christmas, New Year’s Day. （二）教学重难点：1. 能正确用序数词表达日期，并在不同语境中的用法能灵活使用是难点。
需要教师不断练现强化。
2. 1-12月的月份，掌握序数词第几个月与这个月份的英文名称相对应。

2. 能听懂、会说有关询问际用语，并能在实际情景中运用。
3、能听、说、读、写76个四会单词，能认读66个图片下的单词，并能用英语进行简单描述。
4、能用学过的语言描述画面，能听懂、理解小故事，回答问题。
5、能够读准各单元中的元音因素及字母组合，能模仿有关语言材料。
