8A第五单元Integrated skills的教学反思在我校刚刚结束的“新蕾杯”青年教师基本功大赛中,我参加了角逐,并取得了一定的成绩。
在上完这节课后我思考了整个教学过程,其中有一些教学故事供大家参考商榷,以求共同进步.这次我所上的课题是8A第五单元Birdwatchers的Integrated skills部分。
通常一个单元由以下八个板块构成:卡通漫画(Comic strip)导入(Welcome to the unit)阅读(Reading)词汇(Vocabulary)语法(Grammar)综合技能(Integrated skills)学习技巧/语音(Study skills/Pronunciation)中心任务(Main task)检测(Checkout)。
其中综合技能这个板块是对学生听、说、读、写全面的训练,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
所以在教学中我就注意培养学生从所给的听力或书面材料中获取、选择和重新组合信息的能力,在此基础上培养学生的口、笔头表达能力。
本课时的A1 部分分两块操作,一是before you listen 二是while you listen,让学生在已经具备的相关的扎龙自然保护区的信息的基础上获得更多的自然保护区的情况。
于是我就用学生在Reading中获得的信息提问来导入新课。
在A1More facts about Zhalong题目的基础上我用Some facts about Zhalong Nature Reserve作为开始。
第一个问题问Where is Zhalong Nature Reserve?这个问题比较简单学生很轻松地回答了It is in Heilongjiang in north-east China..第二个问题是What kinds of birds live in Zhalong?学生也不难回答Many different kinds of birds live there. Among them are rare red-crowned cranes.让学生再次获得这样的信息,扎龙自然保护区是以鸟类为主的。
在大家知道扎龙是湿地的基础上提出第三个问题Why are wetlands so important for wildlife?学生可以用学到的句子回答Because they provide food and shelter for them.. It is an ideal home for many plants,fish and birds.在这些问题的铺垫下话语一转,再问 Whatwill happen if people change the wetlands to make space for farms and buildings? 让学生认识到不保护湿地的严重后果The birds will not have enough space to live. 继而上升到情感教学目标,我们要保护自然,保护自然环境。
到这里我再用一般疑问句问Do all the people understand the importance of the wetlands?学生很响亮地回答No. 使大家都意识到Many people still do not understand it.我们学生就成立了观鸟俱乐部,来帮助鸟类,唤醒人们对自然的热爱.最后问What does the Birdwatching Club need people to do? 答案可以有很多种,给学生思考的空间,也可以参考课文中的句子It needs people to help them count the birds and do something to help the birds 。
通过一连串的提问,让学生既训练了听的能力又达到综合处理所学知识并且迅速口头表达的能力。
同时又为下面的More facts about Zhalong做好铺垫.Integrated skills PartA是要学生根据听力材料,获取更多的有关扎龙自然保护区的情况。
这时我用powerpoint呈现PartA1 。

World Wetlands Day is on _____.a. 20th Februaryb. 2nd Januaryc. 2nd February在学生听录音前,先让他们猜测五道题的答案.学生们用已经有的知识能知道三、四题的答案,鼓励他们这已经很不错了,完成了before you listen。
同时处理其中的一个生词hectare这是一个表示面积的计量单位。
带着已有的信息和问题让学生听第一遍录音。
听完后进行第一次核对。
由于听力材料比较长速度也较快,学生一遍听完只有一半的学生能得到答案,于是我根据实际情况放了第二遍。
处理完了while you listen后我就用书上PartA2的过渡语引出A report on Zhalong。
这个板块让学生进一步达到在听的同时获取所需信息的能力。

上完课后我思考这里生词处理的太匆忙,对于新授课仅仅带读是不够的。
应该适当解释用例句加以说明,学生才能掌握。
由于前面这段材料已经听了两遍,而且是二选一填空,我就只放了一遍录音,大多数学生顺利找了答案。
Integrated skills第二个板块是Speak up: Inviting people 要求学生能用一些有用的句型邀请别人去某地或做某事。
书上这段材料就是Sandy邀请Daniel去观鸟。
我就用report中的一句话Zhalong is a very good place to go birdwatching导入到Sandy邀请Daniel去观鸟。
本课时的技能目标就是训练学生的听说能力,所以我就先让学生带着两个简单的问题去听文中的对话,采用任务型的学习方法(task-based learning method),问题是On which day do they plan to go birdwatching? What time does it start and finish? 听完后让学生回答他们所听到的信息。
It’s on Saturday, 15th December。
It starts at 9.30 a.m.and finishes at 3.30 p.m。
接下来呈现这段对话,让学生边听边跟读,达到纠正语音语调的目的。
