一、 【Teaching aims】
1. Train Ss’ basic skills, especially their reading skills 2. Try to improve Ss’ ability of teamwork and inspire them to solve problems. 3. Give Ss some encouragement to explore science and help them to be determined to study hard and make great contributions to our motherland.
二、 【Key points and difficulties】
1. Some words and difficult sentences in the text 2. How to get Ss to understand the text and how to improve their reading ability. 3. How to understand Claire’s emotional changes.
三、 【About the material】
It is a text about how an intelligent household is tested out by a woman. As we know,Roberts will play more and more important roles in our future life. They can provide help as well as problems. The text shows an interesting story, which can arouse Ss’ curiosity and make them active to think sensibly, thus motivating Ss to study hard and contribute to the Robert area.
