连词在句中主要起连接词与词、短语与短语及句子和句子的作用。

它主要是包括和。

（1）并列连词①表并列关系表示并列关系的并列连词有and, neither…nor, not only…but (also), both…and, as well as等。

完成句子★你和我都不正确。

you I right.★不仅我爸爸而且我也对足球感兴趣。

my father I int erested in football.★她和索菲娅都喜欢这姑娘。

she Sophia pleased with the girl.★汤姆和我每天步行去上学。

如：完成句子★我又失败了，但我不会放弃的。

I failed again, I won't give up.★我出生在大连，然而在加拿大长大。

I was born in Dalian I grew up in Canada.★不管我用什么方法做鸡蛋，小孩还是不肯吃I cook eggs, the child still refuses to eat them.③表因果关系表示因果关系的并列连词有so, therefore, for等。

如：●I got up late, so I didn't catch the early bus.我起床晚了，所以没赶上早班车。

●The days get long, for it is already July.天变长了，因为已经是七月了。

④表选择关系表示选择关系的并列连词有or, either…or…， otherwise等。

如：●Work hard, or you will fall behind.努力学习，否则你会落后。

●Either you or he is going to do some shopping this afternoon. 今天下午或者你或者他去购物。

⑤注意A both…and…意为“不但……而且……”，连接两个成分作主语时，谓语要用复数。

B neither…nor…意为“既不……也不……”；not only…but (also)…意为“不但……而且……”；either…or…意为“或者……或者……”。

它们连接两个成分作主语，其谓语通常与靠近的主语保持一致，即遵循“就近原则”。

C as well as意为“而且，还，又”，连接并列主语时，谓语动词应与它前面的主语一致。
