weather教学设计优质课

Teaching planTitle: keeping safe in the bad weather(九年级,读写综合课)优课教学设计:一、学情分析:九年级下学期的学生经过三年的初中学习,已学过将近1600个词汇和300多个词组及表达。

在初三下学期已具备一定的基础进行话题写作训练。

二、教材分析:经过前期词汇、词组、句型的听写复习及语法复习,现阶段学生们进入话题写作复习阶段,在此阶段教师将根据所话题功能将学生所学知识进行分类和整合成十二个话题复习资料,通过十二节节话题写作课进行综合训练,目的是提高学生的英语写作水平和语言的综合运用能力。

在本节话题复习课中教师将天气和安全整合在一起,编成一节话题写作教学资料,所有教学资料包括课件、设计理念、读写综合材料均由个人原创完成。

三、教学安排:本话题写作课一节课完成,在教学中采用分组合作竞争模式写作训练,课前安排学生分组收集与天气和安全相关的词汇,短语。

分写作前、写作中、写作后三个阶段。

Greeting:T: Class begins, Good afternoon class!Ss: Good morning Miss Luo!T: How are you today?Ss: Fine, thank you, and you?T: I’m fine, too. Today we are going to have a topic writing lesson. Look at the pictures, can you guess what we are going to talk about?(Teacher show two pictures and ask Ss to guess the topic)Ss: Weather and accident/ safety.T: Quite good. Yes, in this lesson, we are going to review some words and expressions about weather and safety; some useful expressions in writing. I hope you can describe the events and express your opinions according to the pictures, then I hope you can write an article about “How to keep in the bad weather””, clear? I hope you can enjoy this lesson.Ss: Ok.Step 2 : RevisionT: First, I want you to challenge yourselves. What words can you think of according to the pictures?Ss: sunny, cloudy….T: Good, OK, now le t’s review these words together. (Ask Ss to read together) .Well done!Step 3: Leading inT: Now le t’s have another challenge. How much do you know about the weather?1. What’s the weather like today?2. Is it always good weather in Dongguan?3. What kind of bad weather do you know?4. If something dangerous happens in the bad weather, what would you do?(Ask Ss four questions and help Ss answer them.)Step 4: PresentingDo you know that the weather is not always good, sometimes the weather is terrible. Do you still remember the Typhoon called “Tian tu” happened in Dongguan last time? It was so terrible. (Teacher shows the picture)Ss: Yes.T: Do you know what will happen when typhoon comes? Sometimes we have heavy rain ---rainstorm and it is also terrible. There was a terrible rainstorm hit Dongguan on March, 31 this year. It was so terrible that we had a day off. But before reading, let’s learn the information card first. (Teacher shows the information card on the screen, then give some tips to teach Ss how to read it. Then help Ss find out the questions and key words of each question. Then Ss read the material and fill in the blank. Finally teacher helps Ss how to find the answers in the article, and then check the answers.)Step 6 Discussion: Discuss, Describe and WriteT: “We know that the rainstorm happened in Dongguan last was so terrible. So do you think is it important to keep safe when the rainstorm comes?”Ss: Yes, it is very important.T: So how to keep safe? Do you have any ideas?Ss: Sure, we should stay at home and don’t …..T: Yes, good idea! What other was can we keep safe?(Teacher show Ss a table with 5 questions)Think about it please. You can discuss with your partner and then please writedown at least three ways to keep safe. OK?Ss: Yes.( Then Ss discuss and write them down.)Step 7: Task 4: WritingT: Let’s write an article. Let’s read the writing requirement first. ( Then Ss read it aloud.) Now, I will give you some writing tips.Tip 1. Read the requirements. (Help Ss find out and circle the key words)Tip 2. List the outline. (Teacher show a pattern and teach how to build the article structure. )Tip 3. Write the first draft with the help of the sentences they wrote just now.Tip 4. Check &Correct the article according to teacher’s trips.Tip 5. Write the final version.Tip 6.
